ACOLYTES are provided by our young people in 3rd grade and above. They are responsible for lighting the altar candles on Sunday mornings and presenting the offering plates to the altar. Scheduled training sessions are held as needed. For more information contact: 936-295-5441

Class members of all ages enjoy weekly lessons presented by Louise Looney, recent missionary to China, who encourages participants to grow their relationship with God to help them overcome life's struggles. New Traditions Class Meets in the Conference Room, Rm. 15, 11:00 am
This Bible Study Class surveys the Old and New Testaments exploring Biblical narrative and doctrine in relationship to current issues confronting our daily lives. Class leader is Dr. John Wilson, engineer,  physicist, professor and man of faith. The Grand Sweep meets on the 3rd Floor in Room 301 at 11:00 a.m.  (The Grand Sweep Class does not meet in June, July and August.)
This "Collage" class is for persons of all age and with diverse ideas, is led by Josie Erb Pickett, Dena Miller and Donna DesForges. The class is currently studying "The Fruit of the Spirit" and meets in Room 307 on the Third Floor at 11 a.m.
This class of older men meet each Sunday morning for Bible study with a discussion format, using the Adult Bible Study, International Lesson Series. Men's Bible Class meets in the Memorial Concourse at 9:45 a.m.
This class of mostly senior adult women emphasizes fellowship, sharing and social activities in addition to Sunday programming of Christian education. Mrs. Phyllis Nichols, class teacher, presents the weekly lesson from the Adult Bible Study, International Lesson Series. J.O.Y. Class meet in the Office Building in Room 18 at 9:45 a.m.
The class of retired couples and singles enjoys lecture style lessons from the Adult Bible Study, International Lesson Series. Class members also meet monthly for lunch and a time of fellowship. The Builder's Class meets in the Office Building in Room 17 at 9:45 a.m.
This class of mostly adult couples enjoys in-depth discussions of lessons on a variety of topics, including social issues as well as Bible studies. Inquirers meet in the Office Building in Room 15 at 9:45 a.m.
This Sunday School class started in 2009 and is for adults of all ages who like to participate in lively discussions on a variety of topics led by various class members. The class uses adult Bible materials and/or a faith based book as a catalyst for discussions and personal reflections. The Friends Class meets on the 3rd floor in Room 301 at 9:45 a.m.
This adult Bible class, organized in 1970, is blessed with many active retired couples and singles.  Led by Dr. Jerry Bruce, the class studies the Bible cover to cover--literally beginning with Genesis and working their way through to Revelation. The Upper Room Class Meets on the 3rd Floor, Room 304 at 9:45 a.m.
The Challengers meet each Sunday to support each other and to discuss how to live a productive, joyful and fulfilling life as they challenge each other to honor God by keeping the faith with the responsibilities and tasks God has given.
