Wednesday Nite Live Winter/Spring Session 2013
We are offering short term studies (8-10 weeks) for adults of all ages, for youth and for children beginning January 16th! This will be a great time to gather with friends and family and share a meal and fellowship with each others.
Meals will be provided each Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm. The studies begin at 6:00 p.m. The cost of the meal is $5 per person or $10 per family. You may choose to come for the study only, the meal only or the study and the meal. We guarantee you will enjoy one or all of the above!
A nursery is provided in the Preschool area for preschool children 4 years old and younger.

Wednesday evening youth gatherings will continue their video internet based Bible study, "Preposterous". Each episode presented in You Tube format presents the scripture in youth-friendly manner and is follwed by small group discussion. Check out the topics at www.preposterousproject.com. Join us for dinner in the Social Hall at 5:30 p.m. and in the Youth Building for Bible study from 6-7:30 p.m.
Kindergarteners - 2nd Graders: Interactivbe lessons will provide an adventure as "Kids Travel Guide to the Parables" leads them each week in learning a new parable told by Jesus.
3rd- 5th Graders: Using "Tween Time" curriculum, each week children will learn a new story and scripture and will participate in a new mission project that reaches out to our local community.
NURSERY
A nursery will be provided for chidren four years old and younger. If possible, please register you child when you register yourself.
The Social Principles of the United Methodist Church speak to human issues in our contemporary world from a sound bibical and theological foundation. Through not considered "churchlaw", they are intended to be instructive and persuasive as they call us to faithfulness. Participants in this 8-week class will join in open discussion on the church's stand on the death penalty, health care, gambling, tobacco, and much more. Class Leader: Rev. Ellen Willett
Join other class members in an introduction to Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 8. Though this is not a class for advanced computer users, participants should be familiar with the use of a mouse and keyboard as well as some experience with earlier versions of Windows. Participants will cover the basics as well as learn innovative ideas and tricks to learn how to work smarter and faster. Cost for the Instruction Manual is $15. Class Leader: Bill Michaelson.
This 8-week Bible study uses DVD clips from the movie, Courageous, as a backdrop for discussion and insight on how husbands and wives can make new commitments to each other and to their children and in the process leave a strong legacy of faithfulness for generations to come. Cost per couple: $25. Class Leaders: Rev. Mark Pickett and Josie Pickett.
As we travel from the birth of baby Jesus at Christmas, through the season of Lent and the death of Jesus upon the cross, participants in this 8-week class will take an in-depth look at the life of Jesus as presented in the various Gospels of the New testament. Participants will see how scripture, tradition, reason and experience help us to understand and interpret God's divine truth as seen through Jesus in the Gospels. Class Leader: Dr. Terry Bilhartz.
Members will take part in a Bible study that contains ASL versions of New Testament stories with lesson points to help us apply these stories to our everyday life. Class Leader: Leslie Michaelson.
