At First United Methodist Church, we welcome children of all ages in our worship services. During the 9:45 service, preK-2nd grade kids are welcome to leave the CLC worship space with the children's director during the sermon for children's church.During this time, they will engage in an age appropriate lesson. They will return for the closing song and communion on applicable Sundays. 3rd-5th graders are encouraged to sit with their families and listen to the sermon. "Sermon Notes for Kids" are provided for those who would like to follow along with the sermon. This allows families time to worship together and a time for the whole family to be spiritually fed in an environment appropriate for their age. Nursery is available for infants-3 year olds. There is also children’s Sunday School held at 11:00 in the First Kids wing.
First Kids Sunday School
We offer Sunday School for children 4 years old-5th grade in our First Kids wing. Sunday School classes are divided into the following age groups: PreK-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade.
First Kids Nursery (Infant - 3 Years)
Our nursery provides care for newborn children through 3 years of age on Sunday mornings for each hour of worship. We offer a welcoming, nurturing, and safe place for your children. We want you and your children to feel welcomed and loved while learning of God’s love.
