Welcome to First United Methodist Church of Huntsville! We are excited that you are interested in worshiping with us and growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We know going to a new church can be nerve-racking, especially when you do not know anyone. Here is some info to help you out!
Worship
Location
We have three worship services at 8:30, 9:45 & 11 AM. The 8:30 & 11 AM are traditional services with choir and hymns, held in our Historic Sanctuary. The 9:45 service is contemporary with a praise team and it is held in our CLC Sanctuary. Nursery is available during all services. Additionally, we livestream all worship services on our FaceBook page.
We are located at 1016 Sam Houston Ave. catty-corner from the Walker County Courthouse. The Historic Sanctuary is located on Sam Houston Ave. and the CLC is the northern most building located on the corner of 10th St. and Sam Houston Ave. with the main entrance on 10th St. Click below to view a map of our church!
Sunday School/Small Groups
We have Sunday school classes, small groups, and Bible studies for all ages. Click below for more details!
