As a prominent church on the downtown square, we assist those who are daily drawn into our welcoming doors. We encourage you to read the following ways you can volunteer and GO be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
Tuesday Helpers
This group gathers in the church office on Tuesday mornings to do general maintenance and upkeep on the church grounds and buildings. Job assignments range from changing light bulbs to building shelves, setting up tables to changing filters in the A/C. There are usually coffee and cookies involved! Hospitality Committee
If you would like to assist in preparing meals and receptions for families of our congregation who have lost a loved one, please contact Frances Cording at francescording@gmail.com or (936) 581-0099, or call the church office at (936) 295-5441. This is a special ministry in which the church can reach out to families during their time of need. Ideally you will only be called upon a couple of times a year.

This group of workers assist when special needs arise in the church office–church-wide mailings, telephone assistance, answering the phone in the front office, etc. For more information, contact Sara Kuhlman at sara@huntsvillefumc.org or call the church office at (936) 295-5441.
A/V Volunteer
We need people to help out behind-the-scenes on Sunday mornings in order for the service to run smoothly. We need help in all three services running cameras, video, slides, sound, and the livestream. If you are interested, contact James Grunshaw at jgrunshaw@gmail.com, phone 936-714-4958. No experience necessary!
